This Whale's Tail sculpture is one of a kind and clearly demonstrates the artist's ability to fashion custom artwork jewelry for the discriminating client. The client who commissioned this piece received the original stone as a gift. When he received it, he immediately saw a whale's tail within the stone. The artist, "Darrel Benoit," was challenged to create the whale's tail as a pendant for presentation to the client's wife. The beautiful finished design is crafted so that the incorporated Druzy quartz, simulates barnacles. The silver mounting completes the streamline whale's tale design.
